BUFFALO GAP HISTORIC VILLAGE - Buffalo Gap, TX

The Buffalo Gap Historic Village is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history and heritage of the West Texas Frontier. Located in beautiful Buffalo Gap, Texas, the museum consists of nearly 20 structures and 9,000 artifacts set up to represent frontier life from 1880-1925. You can see the original Taylor County Courthouse built in 1880 and the 1920 two room schoolhouse from Scurry County. Come out and spend the day wandering the grounds and listening to stories on our hand held soundwands.
