ADKINS ARBORETUM - Ridgely, MD

Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Its five miles of paths traverse native meadows, woodlands, wetlands and native gardens.  The visitor’s center includes a gift shop and art gallery. The annual summer outdoors sculpture show is held June 1- September 15. Visitors are oriented with a video and entertaining audio tour. Guided walks are held Saturdays, 11 a.m., April – November. Shop at the Arboretum’s native plant nursery throughout the growing season.
